Above all, the most important characteristic of a successful blog is   ENGAGING HEADLINES. 

Your post’s title, or headline, is your audience’s first impression of a post. Your headline needs to grab your audience’s attention & engage them to read the first three lines of your post. 

How to do this:  During the next week, brainstorm at least 3 headlines for every post you write.  Pick the headline that has the best chance of exciting your readers and getting the first sentence of your post read.

So Apple says it has a Pandora killer in the works, and already Pandora takes a hit. Pandora stock dropped 17% on Friday.
